The infrastructure dependency angle has a direct capital allocation implication. Gulf sovereign wealth funds (PIF, Mubadala, G42's backers) have committed capital to AI infrastructure buildout on the assumption of a stable operating environment. Data center construction timelines, hyperscaler partnership agreements, and compute sovereignty roadmaps were all priced for a Gulf that was commercially open and geopolitically insulated. That assumption is now under active revision. The question isn't just whether Gulf AI ambitions survive the conflict... It's whether the international capital partners behind those ambitions reprice their exposure before any ceasefire.
